A New Kind of
Collegiate League

The Greek Golf Association is a student-run competitive golf league built for fraternities across the country. Founded at Purdue University, the GGA brings 9-hole match play competition to Greek chapters — combining the tradition of the sport with the energy of Greek life.

About the GGA

The story, the format, and the rules behind Greek Golf Association.

The Mission

What Is the Greek Golf Association?

The Greek Golf Association is a student-run, competitive golf league built specifically for fraternities. Founded at Purdue University in 2024, the GGA gives Greek chapters across the country a structured, season-long match play competition that combines the tradition of golf with the brotherhood of Greek life.

We're not just a casual round — we're a real league, with real standings, real stakes, and real pride on the line every Sunday. Every match counts toward your chapter's record, your school's standing, and your shot at the GGA Championship.

The Format

How the League Works

9-Hole Match Play

Each week, 2-person teams compete head-to-head over 9 holes. Best ball format — your team's lowest score wins each hole.

📊

Points System

Win = 3 pts · Tie = 1 pt · Loss = 0 pts.

🏆

Championship

Top 8 teams advance to the GGA Championship. Single-elimination bracket. One fraternity team takes home the trophy and big money.

📅

Weekly Schedule

Same time, every week. 6-week regular season followed by Championship Week. Fall & Condensed Spring seasons at select schools.

💰

Entry & Prizes

$275 per team per season for the Championship league. Prize pool funded by entry fees. Championship entry fee adds to the winner's purse.

🤝

Eligibility

Active fraternity members in good standing. Both players from the same chapter. All skill levels welcome to choose between the Championship league with big money or the Social league with lots of fun.

The Rules

League Rules & Guidelines
